The Department for Education Framework 2021 states that at least one person who has a current paediatric first aid certificate must be on the premisses at times there are children on site.

what does the health and safety executive say?
The HSE set out the requirement for first aid provisions in the workplace which must be adequate for its circumstances. Suitable first aid equipment, facilities and personnel must be available at all times.
