Emergency Paediatric First Aid Level 3 (RQF) (EPFA)

The Emergency Paediatric First Aid Level 3 (RQF) is the entry-level paediatric first aid course and forms unit 1 of the full paediatric first aid course. This course is delivered over 1 day to provide the skills and knowledge to deal with emergency paediatric events. 

This course can be tailored to include both in-person and online learning. All 6 hours can be taught in-person, or the theory section an be completed online (approx 3 hours) prior to the 3 hours of practical learning. Perfect for your business needs.

• The role and responsibilities of a paediatric first aider
• Unresponsive infant's and children
• CPR for Infant and Children
• Choking
• Bleeding
• Shock
• Bites, stings and minor injuries

This course is ideal for: 

• Parents and Families
• Childminders (who do not require the full course)
• Child care workers

It is strongly recommended by the HSE that students take a requal course every 3 years. 

On successful completion of the course, learners will receive a digital certificate, evidenced based learning statement and a CPD statement. For printed copies, additional charges apply.
